I finally gave this a try and OMG. This was just as awesome as Psychotaph was. I'm truly wondering if there will be more games within this universe you are creating
Excellent, glad you enjoyed the game! I can't say for certain if/when I'll start working on another one (it's hard to find the time), but I definitely have more ideas. I'll keep an eye on your YouTube channel :)
your game is good, great, even. I loved the atmosphere, the concept is insane, the dialogue and characters where really interesting and the whole game wrapped up pretty well. I really want to recommend this game to my friends but I don't want to expose them to the atrocious and questionable decisions that you made. So 5 minutes into the game I am in gut wrenching pain from the looping soundtrack in the background and the quite vast ruin of nothing paired with the pace of a tiny weak snail even while pushing the shift key to the floor beneath me. With barely any indication (through decent level design) to where I am supposed to go. When you have to go into the desert to progress you can barely figure out where you should be or if there's anything even out there and it takes way too much time with barely anything to latch onto/explore it quickly became very tedious and painful. The game is really good and I really enjoyed it but it also made me want to bury myself in the desert and question myself on why I put myself through this. Update the game you got something really good going on because while I had patience for the game and what bothered me about it most sane people won't which is upsetting because again, the concept, dialogue, characters, atmosphere were really good, the level design and the painfully slow pacing caused by it really dragged on and overtook the whole exprerience.
Hey, I'm glad you finished the game and I really appreciate the feedback! This is my first game ever so I didn't really know what I was doing. That being said, I am not sane and the pain was all more or less intentional. I wanted a sense of extreme scale and desolation, and I wanted the player to be confused and lost. I am also reluctant to increase the walk/run speed as it will feel unnatural. HOWEVER, I do want more people to finish the game so I will work on a version 2 with a shrunken city map, a path to the well in the desert, and perhaps more indicators of what to do. Thanks so much for playing.

NICE GAME DEV
Thanks for the video!
I liked staring at the pyramid. I also enjoyed the aimless wandering.
